Suburban Sanctuary,
Western Massachusetts

This new construction project in Western Massachusetts started as a blank canvas. The design included a 1,000 square foot patio, 75 foot-long front walkway, curved goshen stone seating walls, four exterior bluestone staircases, a built-in grill, an outdoor kitchen, and a custom low-voltage landscape lighting package. We worked with the homeowners from the planning stage of the house construction and throughout the whole building process. Coordinating timing with the other contractors was critical on this project; we needed to schedule our work to coincide with building, plumbing and electrical inspections. Planning and extensive design work payed off in the final product of this project. The duration of this project was six weeks.

"We had a great experience working with StoneScapes LLC throughout the entire project.  The design phase felt collaborative in nature with Bjorn and George turning our general ideas into conceptual drawings.  We used the drawings to finetune the project and make sure the various spaces worked together in a functional way.  It was fun to watch those concepts turn into reality.  The results were stunning and we couldn’t be happier".
